Job Profile :

 

Responsibilities include retouching images for magazine and newspaper.
Retouching involve adjusting color, contrast and sharpness; enhancing fashion images, removing blemishes, smoothening and adding glow to skin.
-Excellent in image retouching and manipulation, enhancing fashion
shoots and smoothening skin tones.
- Create composites for covers, cut-outs over mastheads etc. Manage
various modules of Prestige content management system till final
generation of PDFs.
- Flair for thinking creatively and design layouts for print media.
- Finalising artwork for four color separation.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good in time management in order to meet deadlines.
- Well conversant with applications like Adobe Photoshop, Indesign,
Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Painter, QuarkXpress, MS Office
and Editorial Content Management Systems.
- Good in arabic typesettingc as well if need arises.

RESPONSIBILITIES ON WORK

My experience in Medad Media has been designing of newsletters
brochure, leaflets, posters, for major clients include GASCO Oil Co., ADNOC Oil Co., Unibeton Redimix, ADCB, Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce, Regency, Rotana and most hotels industries in Abu Dhabi.

To handle the staffs independently and carry out design and
development of basic in design for final prints.
- Retouch the photographs independently and to make colour correction as required for the final print.

To assist Dept. represenatatives on all the pictures correction,
masking system, colour seperations, cutout mixing, picture
mixing, background mixing, and correction of photographs
for final prints.

To Check all pages of magzines to do ensure & maintain quality, design and output.

Assist Department representatives and co-operation with staff on technical specifications on Macintosh, and PC software.

To work under pressure with a sense of responsibility and independence and to take care of computer systems.
